When you think of safety on a golf course, you think of someone yelling "Fore" after an errant golf shot or you get an image of a golfer driving a power cart. These are not the safety issues that have now become a "Hot Button" topic for the golf course owner / operator / managers in Ontario. Provincial government agencies are conducting inspections of golf courses all over the province to ensure that they are "in compliance" for safety by having Joint Health & Safety Committees in place with its' members certified, safety representatives trained, safety programs implemented and safety hazards corrected. Similar issues are arising in other countries including the United States, Australia and South Africa. OSHA compliance is becoming increasingly important for U.S. golf course owners and OSHA regulations for golf course safety can be difficult to implement without professional assistance.
How do you know what golf safety programs you will need? Why are they so important to you, the owner/operator/manager? And how do you know which programs are the ones you need? A Google search for safety programs will give you over 50 million hits. Another search for "safety programs Ontario" will give you 2.2 million hits. Confusing? Absolutely! So where do you turn? The following golf courses turned to CE Safety and had this to say:
- Cataraqui Golf and Country Club Testimonial
- Glen Lawrence Golf Club Testimonial
- Smuggler's Glen Golf Course Testimonial
- Brockville Country Club Testimonial
- The Landings Golf Club & Teaching Centre Testimonial
- Port Carling Golf & Country Club
